Journey through history
The area's archaeological site is rich in very important Roman floor mosaics dating back to the 3rd century BC. The small museum on the edge of the village well worth the visit! As for the nature lovers, long walks up to the old village of Skala in the mountains behind the resort are a great idea. The village was destroyed in the earthquake of 1953 which devastated the whole island. But some of the buildings still remain and make an interesting adventure.
