The old days..
The history of the hotel is tightly attached to the premises in which it is located. After the 1953 earthquake, the village was transferred from the old village to today’s location at Skala.
"Captain Costas" built a structure used for fixing his fishing boat and
his fishing gear.
This was the only one in the village. His boat was not only used for fishing, but also as a mean of transportation for the population of Skala to the mainland as well as a way of transferring supplies from Pelloponisos.
At the catastrofical earthquake of 1953, the boat was also transferring the injured from Skala to the mainland.
