| JOURNEY THROUGH HISTORY The area's archaeological site is rich in very important Roman floor mosaics dating back to the 3rd century BC. You can see these in the small museum on the edge of the village. ![]() |
![]() For those of a more energetic nature you can walk up to the old village of Skala in the mountains behind the current resort. It was destroyed in the earthquake of 1953 which devastated the whole island. some building still remain and make an interesting adventure. |
